Privacy Policy

1. Applicability

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to all individuals and entities who visit, access and/or avail services via www.zetomed.com
or associated mobile applications (collectively, the “Platform”) offered by Zetomed Healthcare. The Policy covers patients, corporate clients, pharmacies, and healthcare providers involved in our services.

2. Collection of Information

We may collect Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Data or Information (SPDI) about you, your family members, dependents, or corporate contacts through the Platform or via our service delivery and other partner relationships.

Personal Information includes: name, identity card number, date of birth, email address, residential address, mobile number, alternate telephone number, employee code (if applicable), etc.

Sensitive Personal Data or Information (SPDI) includes information relating to:

financial information (bank account or payment instrument details)

physical, physiological or mental health condition

medical records and history, prescription test-reports, etc.

any other details relating to the above

For example, in delivering our services (online consultation, health kits, medicine delivery, lab tests) you may provide us or we may obtain from our partners: your health records, medical history, prescribed medicines, test reports, etc.

We may also collect device and usage related information, e.g., when you login, when you upload documents or media, or allow device permissions (camera, gallery, GPS, etc) for service delivery.

3. Use of Device Permissions & Location

When you use our mobile application (if any) or Platform, we may request permissions for:

GPS or other location service — to determine your city/area, to match you to the appropriate provider, to support home delivery of medicines or health-kits.

Access to camera/gallery or files — to enable you to upload prescriptions, reports, images, etc.

Microphone/phone and video permissions — for online video consultations with doctors.

Storage, SMS, WiFi state, Bluetooth, notification permissions — to facilitate service reminders, OTP verification, usage of headsets for video calls, and device connectivity.
You are free to decline or revoke such permissions; however, declining may affect your ability to use certain functionalities of the Platform.

4. Access to and Storage of Your Records

You will be provided a unique login credential for the Platform/profile. You can access the records (your and your dependents) uploaded to your account. We store all such information in encrypted form, and only authorised personnel / service-providers (on a need-to-know basis) will have access in accordance with this Policy.
If you need to update, correct or access names of third-party recipients of your data, you may do so by writing to our grievance officer (see Section 14).

5. Purpose of Collection & Processing

We collect and process the aforementioned Personal Information and SPDI for the following reasons (among others):

To provide you with our services — online doctor consultations, health kits, medicine delivery, diagnostics/lab tests, etc.

To facilitate payments, order processing, deliveries, logistics.

To customise your experience and deliver relevant services and communications.

To verify your identity, detect fraud or misuse of services.

To conduct analytics, research, audit, improve our Platform and service offerings.

To administer our legal obligations and comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

6. Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies (session or persistent), web beacons, tags and similar technologies on our Platform to:

Assist in login and session management.

Analyse website flow, usage patterns, marketing, and to improve user-experience.

Provide features that are only available through use of cookies.
You may decline cookies via your browser settings; however, this may restrict certain functionality of the Platform.

7. Data Storage, Retention & Deletion

All your Personal Information and SPDI (including medical records) are hosted or processed by us at data centres located in India (or other locations in India we may designate).
We retain your data only for the period required to fulfil the purposes outlined herein, or as required under applicable laws or regulations.
You may request deletion of your account/data through our grievance mechanism; please note that deletion requests will be subject to legal/regulatory retention obligations.

8. Transfer / Sharing of Information

We do not sell your Personal Information or SPDI. We may transfer/disclose your information only under the following circumstances:

To law enforcement or regulatory bodies, as required by due process of law.

To our associates, affiliates, service-providers and empanelled healthcare partners (on a need-to-know basis) to deliver services to you.

In the event of restructuring, merger, acquisition of the Company — provided the other entity adheres to this Policy.

To your employer or authorised corporate representative (if services are being availed in a corporate/employer-sponsored context), on receipt of appropriate formal request and approval.
We do not transfer your data outside India unless we have appropriate safeguards in place.

9. Advertisements & Links to Third-Party Websites

Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites or advertisements. We do not control or guarantee the privacy practices or content of those websites. We advise you to review their privacy policies before providing any Personal Information or SPDI.

10. Data Security

We employ industry-standard security measures (e.g., SSL encryption, secure storage, access controls) and our Information Security Management System is aligned with ISO 27001 standards. Nevertheless, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is absolutely secure — you should use discretion when accessing our Platform.

11. Children’s Privacy

If the user is under the age of 18, usage of our Platform should be under supervision of a parent or legal guardian. If we become aware of collection of Personal Information or SPDI from anyone under 18 without parental consent, we will take steps to remove such data.

12. Consent and Opt-Out

By using our Platform and providing us your (and/or your dependents’) Personal Information or SPDI, you consent to the collection, storage, processing, transfer and usage of such data in accordance with this Policy.
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time (subject to legal/regulatory constraints) by writing to our grievance officer. Withdrawing consent may impact our ability to provide you certain services.
You may also uninstall the mobile application (if applicable) to stop all data collection.

14. Governing Law

This Policy and any dispute arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by the laws of India. The courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

15. Miscellaneous

Severability: If any part of this Policy is found invalid or unenforceable, the other parts shall remain in full force.

Changes to Policy: We may update this Policy from time to time; the “Last Updated” date will be revised and the updated version posted on our Platform. Continued use of our services after changes implies acceptance.

Indemnity: You agree to indemnify us for any claim or dispute arising out of disclosure of your data to third-parties or your misuse of the Platform contrary to this Policy
